Ethraa

​"Ethraa" is one of the flagship initiatives launched by the Community Development Authority in Dubai, aimed at empowering non-profit organizations and enhancing their role in sustainable social development. The program promotes the adoption of best practices in institutional governance, improves operational efficiency, and ensures the long-term impact of social initiatives. Ethraa is built on a comprehensive assessment framework covering key pillars such as service quality, operational excellence, and community impact, alongside enabling and governance standards.

This holistic approach supports the creation of an integrated ecosystem of non-profit entities capable of addressing the diverse needs of the UAE community, particularly vulnerable groups such as senior citizens, people of determination, and low-income families. In its first phase, the program successfully fostered positive competition among organizations, recognizing 25 entities across three levels of distinction: Diamond, Platinum, and Gold. The second phase expanded the scope of evaluation in partnership with the Dubai Quality Group, further embedding a culture of institutional innovation and sustainable social impact.
