Professionals include social workers, social therapists, behavior analysts, psychologists, social guides, special education teachers, and learning support assistants. The license issued is valid for 2 years and is renewable.

All professionals working in the private sector who wish to provide community-based care services in the Emirate of Dubai must apply for a two-year renewable license issued by the Community Development Authority.
